Keeping Up Momentum.

When I woke up this morning I was itching to write another blog post. Got to keep the ball rolling! So, I have decided that I would post about my interests and what will be included in this blog. The main subject matter will become clear as I post more often, because office work coupled with this insane heat wave has mashed up my poor brain. Who knows? Maybe this will help me with my problem. :D

Firstly, I freely admit that my interests have taken a back seat for a very long time now. Always chose to work instead of focus on my passions or any of the things I genuinely enjoy doing, which is a huge mistake on my part. This was pretty deflating, but here I am wanting to change that. :)

You'll always catch me online browsing deviant-art, tumblr or some other site with my iPhone in awe. The talent of the members amazes me. I have always had a passion for Art, Photography and Crafts but my shyness and lack of confidence was my downfall. Hated showing anybody what I made or drew, so my creations were boxed away with the intention of returning to them. I kept all my tools and I am going to start again. I shall be posting updates on my journey both personally and creatively! :D

Since around June 2012 I have made huge changes to my lifestyle and lost over 10kg. This included eating healthy, starting to run and bike, lift weights and become much fitter in general. It has been a massive confidence boost and I now spend a lot of time in the gym or being active with our puppy, Alfie. Through doing this my interest in fashion has increased too. I'm constantly trying out different styles that I would never have considered in a million years. Though I'm not one to post photos of myself wearing outfits (often), I do appreciate the style of others on a daily basis. 

Last but not least we have games. Now games have been a constant in my life, but recently they are not such a big part of it. I'm an RPG girl but I have played my fair share of FPS, RTS and a smidgen of ass kicking in Soul Calibur or BlazBlue. No matter what platform you prefer the gaming community is great and I have met so many lovely people (including my boyfriend), and that is the main reason I carry on playing them. No matter how many breaks I take from gaming or how far behind I get I always return. Besides, it's fun being a born again newbie sometimes! ;)
